Dropdowns

Quickly installed, economical, and hand-crafted to fit your exact vehicle, Eckharts Hitches are built to handle maximum gross trailer weights of unlimited loads. We also offer a virtually unlimited range of dropdowns to ensure level towing, including models in lustrous Black Chrome. Eckharts front-mounted hitches are perfect for winches and enhanced maneuvering of your trailers. They’re all custom built.

Eckharts Dropdowns are precision engineered in various load ranges up to unlimited maximum gross trailer weight (MGTW).

  • Designed for use in standard 2" & 2-1/2" receivers and available in different heights to insure level towing
  • Combined with the Eckharts Receiver, our unique design reduces tow noise and when removed, allows maximum ground clearance, thus helping to eliminate the all too common hitch drag
  • Standard Dropdowns are painted black
  • Optional BLACK CHROME Dropdowns available
